21 Sep Changing the Way We Think
Throughout this journey, we will probably focus on relationships, life coaching tips, strategies for making change, and daily challenges. All in the context of our everyday lives.
The goal here will be to live more consciously and be in control of our thoughts. As it is a forum for everyone to comment and share their experiences, the journey will also be shaped by you, your comments and your suggestions. We are all in this together.
I’m going to leave you today with a quote from Shakespeare,
“Nothing is neither good nor bad but thinking makes it so.”
This is the basis of Rational Emotive Therapy, whereby the clinician challenges the client’s thoughts in an attempt to change them, and consequently change the way the client feels.
Most of you would be familiar with the recent “Secret” that talks about manifesting your dreams by visualising it as a reality. It makes note that how your feel is very important because it is the feeling that creates the vibrational match.
So in order to change the way we feel which is very important in creating our visualisation, we need first to change the way we think?
In order to change the way you think, I suspect you would need some level of control over your thinking?
